Text Box: classrooms had new furniture and new bulletin boards. If you haven’t seen the classrooms since their makeover, you should check it out. Text Box: If you haven’t been back in the children’s classrooms in a few months then you have missed some big changes. Early this summer the elders approved plans for the rooms to get a face lift. Christa Ellis, Amber Allen and Samantha Adkins spent a month looking at designs, colors, and themes for the rooms. Once the designs were approved the painting began. The week prior to painting many showed up during the evening hours to prepare the rooms. The following Saturday the real paint day began. The volunteer turnout was amazing. Most worked through the Text Box: day non-stop till the painting was finished late in the afternoon. Besides the classrooms the hallway and fellowship hall were painted as well. The next morning the children showed up to see brand new rooms. The children were excited to see the changes, and promptly changed the names of the classrooms to match the design of the room. If you hear something about a “circle room”, they are referring to the 2nd & 3rd grade room. But it didn’t end there.
