Commitment to Christ means serving continually and striving to be the best Christians we can be at all times. It is an all day, every day commitment. Our love of Christ and commitment to Him must show not only at church, but at home, in the work place and anywhere we go. One of our biggest responsibilities as a Christian is letting Him show in our lives all the time.
Commitment is something your children must see in you. When your children see you serving and striving to stay committed, hopefully it will instill the same desire to serve in them and they will grow to be committed Christians. What a blessing it has been for us to see our children choose to be committed to Christ and to have our grandson raised in a home that is committed to Christ.
The Christian's support team is also important. It is much easier to serve and stay committed when you surround yourself with a loving and supportive spouse, family, church family and friends. We truly appreciate all that the Hamby family has done for us as we work to serve our Lord and stay committed.
