Being a committed Christian isn't always easy, especially for a young person living in the world today. A committed Christian puts God first in his or her life and gives God the glory, not himself. A committed Christian does everything in his life toward God, not toward all the other worldly things that are only temporary. Sometimes at school, even at a Christian school, you can get distracted from God and start to lean toward temptation. Whenever this happens I always try and think about the commitment some of the people in the Bible had toward God Moses and David are a couple that come to mind. Thinking about them helps me stay committed to God.
It is always easier to stay committed to God if you are around other people that are also Christians. It is important to choose good friends that are always there and that give you good advice. These friends will help you live a life that is committed to God.
Being committed to God is probably the most important thing in living a strong Christian life. We should all try to do the best we can in our everyday life to stay committed to God.
