- Wednesday Night: Peak of the Week 7 p. m.
- Next Sunday, February 4, will be Super Sunday. We will have lunch together, the afternoon service and then no service that night. Meat and drinks will be furnished. Scott Meyer, former minister at Hamby, will be our guest speaker.
- Ladies Bible Class will be February 8 in the home of J. R. and Lois Marie Reed, 7:00 p.m. The subject Karen will discuss will be Doubt.
- February 25: Mark your calendars for Kids' Cafe where our youth will serve the congregation a meal. It will take place after the evening service that Sunday.
- Hamby Email List: We have a Hamby email list where we send out info about things going on with the Hamby family. If you are interested in being a part of the list, please email info@hambycoc.org
College Students
- Super Bowl Party: You are invited to a party at the Roberson's house that evening.
- Get Involved: If you are interested in teaching or helping with Bible classes on Sundays or Wednesday, please see Hab and Samantha Adkins. Any guys interested in speaking on Wednesday nights or leading singing, please see Wes Witemeyer.

- Families: The Youth and Family Prayer Group is praying for you regularly. Our prayer focus for January is taken from Deuteronomy 6:4 9. If you have a prayer request, please see Hab or one of the other group members.
Accomplishments and Activities:
- Caroline Campbell is playing basketball for ACHS.
- Trey and Rebecca Roady are both playing basketball for Abilene High.
Prayer Requests
- Alyssia Ambrose requested our prayers as she turns control of her life over to God and trusts He will take care of her. Please keep her in your prayers.
- Brenda Walton is continuing testing to monitor her condition but is feeling good.
- Dale Tacker is improving due to physical therapy.
- Kalyssta Anderson will have surgery on Friday
- Tawn Carpenters father is feeling some better and will have further testing.
- Tawn Carpenter's mother is having heart problems again and not doing well. The Carpenters traveled to Lubbock this past weekend to be with her parents.
- Andy Proffitt is having problems with his stomach and is having tests.
- Jordan Shields, third grader, has two masses on her brain. She has an appointment at Cooks Childrens Hospital on February 3.
