  • Notice the change: Ladies Bible Class has been changed to Tuesday night, March 6, at 7:00 in the home of J. R. And Lois Marie Reed. Karen will be discussing God's Mysteries.
  • Time Change This Saturday: Please remember to set your clocks an hour ahead before going to bed this Saturday. Daylight savings time begins a few weeks earlier this year and will last a few weeks later in the fall as well.
  • Pictures are being taken in Sheldons office for our new pictorial directory. Thank you, Amber. Amber will take pictures over the next few Sundays. Please get your picture taken so that you can be included in our updated directory.
  • Jarrod and Ally Brown gave an interesting report on the work in Honduras Wednesday night. Ally said she has at least 15 children who need sponsors. See Martha Estes if you can help $25 per month. College Students

  • Get Involved: If you are interested in teaching or helping with Bible classes on Sundays or Wednesday, please see Hab and Samantha Adkins. Any guys interested in speaking on Wednesday nights or leading singing, please see Wes Witemeyer.

Youth and Family

  • There will be no group meeting for the month of March. Hab will be distributingan updated prayer list to everyone today. Our prayer focus for March is taken from Psalm 103 praise God through prayer this month for his amazing love.
  • March 18: Youth Devo at the Adkins' home
  • July 1 6: Iron Springs Christian Camp

Accomplishments and Activities:

  • Trey and Rebecca are competing in speech and debate tournaments for Abilene High. Trey competed in the state meet in Dallas for the Texas Forensics Association (TFA) this past week.
  • Congratulations to Trey for making it to the National Merit Finalist level. This is a very big accomplishment that also opens the doors to college scholarships. Prayer Requests

  • Brenda Walton is continuing testing to monitor her condition but is feeling good.
  • Dale Tacker is able to get out and about.
  • Kalyssta Anderson is doing well after her surgery.
  • Jordan Shields, third grader, has a tumor that covers the left side of her brain. Options are being discussed.
  • Claudia McNutt has been moved to Room 3712 at Hendrick Hospital and is recovering nicely.
  • Recovering: Gail Balliew, Ochanee Carpenter, Tawn Carpenters father and mother, Eric Vieth
