  • Hamby Night Out is tonight, Monday, April 16, 6:00 p.m. at Dos Amigos. Come join us!
  • Wednesday Night: "Peak of the Week" 7 p.m.
  • Sunday, April 29, will be the fifth Sunday this month and a Benevolent Fund contribution will be taken.
  • Sunday, April 29, following the evening service we will have a dessert reception honoring our 5 graduating high school seniors: Erin Branton, Vanna Henson, Trey Roady, Katie Roberson, and Jay Tindol. Please plan to attend and help us congratulate these 5.

Youth and Family

  • July 1 6: Iron Springs Christian Camp. All of those who will be entering 4th through 12th grades next fall are encouraged to attend as well as recent high school graduates. Please visit www.ironsprings.org for more information camp and to download a copy of the brochure and registration packet. Please see Hab if you have any questions.
  • Families: The Youth and Family Prayer Group is praying for you regularly. Our prayer focus for April is for our families to experience a spiritual spring. If you have any prayer requests, please let Hab or one of the other group members know.

Accomplishments and Activities:

  • Congratulations to Katie Roberson and the ACHS girls golf team. They have qualified for the state competition later this month in San Antonio.
  • Congratulations to Brady Campbell and the ACHS tennis team. They have qualified for state.
  • If you happen to drive down South 1st, you will see a billboard near Lincoln Middle School honoring Trey Roady as one of the National Merit Scholarship Finalists for the AISD.

Prayer Requests

  • Brenda Walton continues testing.
  • Jordan Shields, third grader, will go for a MRI each 3 months. No surgery now.
  • Claudia McNutt is at home. She is feeling good.
  • Claude and Trula Mae Brown are both feeling better. They have moved back into their apartment.
  • Joe and Bobbie VanHuss' daughter, Vicki Milburn of Wichita, Kansas had surgery to remove the masses in her abdomen. The surgery was successful and she is recovering. Their son-in-law, Ted Corvaea, had to have blood transfusions but is better.
  • Jan Hall, Dennis Mims' sister, fell and broke her pelvis.
  • Recovering: Ochanee Carpenter, Eric Vieth, Kalyssta Anderson, Dale Tacker
