  • Wednesday Night: "Peak of the Week" 7 p.m.
  • A potluck dinner will be after evening services on Sunday, May 6, 2007, to honor Cole Roberson for the great job he has done as our college minister.
  • Hamby Email List: We have a Hamby email list where we send out info about things going on with the Hamby family. If you are interested in being a part of the list, please email info@hambycoc.org

Youth and Family

  • Next Sunday: The Youth and Family Prayer Group will meet.
  • July 1 6: Iron Springs Christian Camp. All of those who will be entering 4th through 12th grades next fall are encouraged to attend as well as recent high school graduates. Please visit www.ironsprings.org for more information camp and to download a copy of the brochure and registration packet. Please see Hab if you have any questions.
  • Families: The Youth and Family Prayer Group is praying for you regularly. Our prayer focus for April is for our families to experience a spiritual spring. If you have any prayer requests, please let Hab or one of the other group members know.

Accomplishments and Activities:

  • Congratulations to Katie Roberson, coach Sheldon DeVries and the ACHS girls golf team. They won the 3A state title this past week. Katie placed 3rd overall with her individual score.   • Congratulations to Trey Roady who qualified for the state Citizenship Bee in Austin.

Prayer Requests

  • Brenda Walton continues testing.
  • Jordan Shields, no surgery now.
  • Claudia McNutt is able to get out more.
  • Claude and Trula Mae Brown are better.
  • Joe and Bobbie VanHuss daughter, Vicki Milburn of Wichita, Kansas got a good report from her tests. Their son-in-law, Ted Corvaea, is better.
  • Jan Hall, Dennis Mims sister, fell and broke her pelvis.
  • Dan Proffitt had surgery on his shoulder Tuesday. The surgery was successful but he is still in a lot of pain.
  • Mayme Churchill will have outpatient surgery May 3 to repair a spine fracture.
  • Recovering: Ochanee Carpenter, Eric Vieth, Kalyssta Anderson, Dale Tacker
