  • Ladies Bible Class will be Tuesday, May 8. 7:00 p.m. at the home of J. R. and Lois Marie Reed, 718 Kenwood. Karen will be discussing Heaven. Please bring your favorite verse or passage about Heaven. This is the last meeting until Fall.
  • Wednesday Night: "Peak of the Week" 7 p.m.
  • Hamby Email List: We have a Hamby email list where we send out info about things going on with the Hamby family. If you are interested in being a part of the list, please email info@hambycoc.org

College Students

  • The elders announced Sunday that Joseph Dennis will serve as our college minister this next school year. Joseph is a student at ACU and has been attending at Hamby the last few years. A big thank you goes out to Cole Roberson for his service in this role the last 2 years.

Youth and Family

  • Next Sunday: J.A.M. Session
  • May 20: Youth Devo. Please see Hab if you would be willing to host this.
  • July 1 6: Iron Springs Christian Camp. All of those who will be entering 4th through 12th grades next fall are encouraged to attend as well as recent high school graduates. Please visit www.ironsprings.org for more information camp and to download a copy of the brochure and registration packet. Please see Hab if you have any questions.
  • Families: The Youth and Family Prayer Group is praying for you regularly. Our prayer focus for May is taken from Romans 12:12. If you have any prayer requests, please let Hab or one of the other group members know.

Prayer Requests

  • Brenda Walton continues testing.
  • Jordan Shields, no surgery now.
  • Claudia McNutt had a change of medication and is feeling better.
  • Joe and Bobbie VanHuss daughter, Vicki Milburn of Wichita, Kansas is recovering nicely. Their son-in-law, Ted Corvaea, is better.
  • Dan Proffitt is almost pain free after his surgery.
  • Mayme Churchill had surgery Thursday on her spine and did very well. She is at her home at 534 EN 20th, 79601.
  • Recovering: Ochanee Carpenter, Eric Vieth, Kalyssta Anderson, Dale Tacker, Jan Hall, Dennis Mims sister
