  • Wednesday, June 6: Everyone is invited to stick around after service and help us kick off this summer's Vacation Bible School with ice cream, cookies and a hay ride. A list is posted in the back if you would like to help with ice cream and cookies.
  • Hal and Betty Crawford placed membership with us last Sunday. Welcome!
  • Congratulations to Don D. Hood and the ACU Track and Field team! The men won their 6th straight title last Saturdayin Charlotte, N. C. at the NCAA Division II Track and Field Championships. The women won second place.
  • Hamby Email List: We have a Hamby email list where we send out info about things going on with the Hamby family. If you are interested in being a part of the list, please email info@hambycoc.org

Youth and Family

  • We kick off our Vacation Bible School Wednesday night. All families are encouraged to attend each Wednesday night at 7 p.m. throughout the summer as we a take a trip to Avalanche Ranch.
  • July 1 - 6: Iron Springs Christian Camp. All of those who will be entering 4th through 12th grades next fall are encouraged to attend as well as recent high school graduates. Please visit www.ironsprings.org for more information camp and to download a copy of the brochure and registration packet. Please see Hab if you have any questions.
  • Families: The Youth and Family Prayer Group is praying for you regularly. Our prayer focus for May is taken from Romans 12:12. If you have any prayer requests, please let Hab or one of the other group members know.

  • Brenda Walton continues testing.
  • Jordan Shields is having seizures.
  • Mayme Churchill is doing good after her surgery and hopes to be out soon.
  • Eric Vieth will have a permanent neuro stimulation system implanted in his back soon. The pain has been relieved some.
  • Joe Van Huss is doing well after having a stent placed in his heart.
  • Recovering: Ochanee Carpenter, Claudia McNutt, Vicki Milburn, Ted Corvaea, Dan Proffitt, Laura Vinson, Opal McAdams
