On Sunday, April 24, the Hamby family honored Kolby Ivanhoe, who has served as our college minister for the past two years. The day of honor and blessing began with Sheldon mentioning Kolby at the end of the morning sermon. During the even sermon, the congregation had a time of prayer and blessing for Kolby as he prepares to graduate from ACU and begin working full-time for Hendrick Hospital. The day was concluded with a potluck supper in his honor.
Kolby was hired before the beginning of the fall semester in 2003. During his tenure, Hamby has seen a rise in the college student attendance. The Hamby family will greatly miss him serving in this capacity, but he will continue to work and serve with us as long as he is in Hamby.
